influences

There's not much we won't watch at least once. Crows will sift through a lot to find that one shiny object. If forced by gunpoint to admit a love, our favorite influences are David Cronenberg, Darren Aronofosky, Jean-Luc Godard, and Harold Lloyd. Toss in some Godzilla movies, crazy weird Asian horror flicks, and some 70's era filmmaking—and you've got our tastes down.

Robert Kirkpatrick (aka Vasan Suksamrahn) is the founder of Crowfeather Films. The cast and crew varies, based on the film, but all are some of the most talented volunteers from throughout the state. Without their enthusiasm, bravery, and love of the art of filmmaking, none of these films would be possible.

equipment

Crowfeather Films is a prime example of microcinema filmmaking. Since we spend most of our days dead broke, we scour equipment and gear from all over. Equipment is patiently compiled bit-by-bit.

For those techheads interested, the cameras we use are a Panasonic GS400 and a Sony FX1. Editing software is Vegas Video and ConnectHD, running on a PC with a 2.6 processor. A Canon ZR20 camcorder connects the editing system to a makeshift TV monitor.
